Texas Heroェ looks like handwriting from about 150 years or so ago -- complete with upper-case flourishes and a little hand-done unevenness overall. Not too fancy, and not too plain. Use for drop caps or to suggest an old-document-style script. Modeled after the handwritten letters of Thomas Jefferson Rusk and other Texas heroes. Includes 18- and 24-point bitmap fonts. Works well with page-layout, illustration software, etc. TrueType version (PostScript Type 1 also available). Install as usual.
This shareware offering has a single weight with upper and lower cases, numerals, punctuation, even some diacriticals. Users who pay the $10 shareware fee will receive a copy of Texas Heroェ with a much-expanded character set -- in fact, more than 40 extra alternate characters, ligatures, and common words. Iユll also send along a trial font or two and news of any additional utilities or other products I might by then have available.
If you choose to keep Texas Heroェ, please send a check for $10 to:

Please also take a moment to mention where you found Texas Heroェ and feel free to note comments, criticisms, bugs, suggestions, and/or other characters youユd like to see. Youユre welcome to pass Texas Heroェ along, but please pass along this document, too. Many thanks.
